XCL SAFETY RATING
How to build up your SR? Keep driving clean and your SR will automatically increase. If you get penalised your SR will drop. The bigger the penalty and it's multiplier, the bigger the drop in SR. Stay out of trouble and drive clean and you will be able to drive in the full range of XCL events in no time.

XCL RATING & LICENSES
Grow your XCL Rating to earn your licenses and work your way onto the top of that leaderboard! XCL Rating is a representation of your simrace skill. You get judged by our own elo rating system which looks at the strenght of the field you are racing in and where you finished compared to your rivals. If you finish above your expected position you are most likely to gain, but finish worse then you might find yourself dropping down. Aim to finish races unharmed and you will likely see your rating grow. Racecraft is more important than single lap speed.

1. STAY ABOVE SR4.0
All new members start with an SR of 4.0, which means you can join Daily Advanced races right away after signing up. However, if your SR drops below 4.0 due to incident reports, you’ll temporarily lose access to these races. In that case, you can rebuild your SR by participating in Daily Sprint events. XCL Rating is not important here yet.
2. ENTER STARTER EVENTS
Once you have maintained 4.0 Safety Rating or more, you can sign up for our Hot Stint Races. These events restart at the communicated times. Track, weather, and in-game time will change, covering all possible conditions.
3. OTHER INFO
You can enter the server for practise all day. But only after the server restarts at the communicated times and days, the race will be ranked (if there is 8 or more drivers in). Higher rated drivers are allowed to enter these events. So you might find the occasional alien on track. Don't be put off by faster drivers tho, losing to them is not disadvantageous to your XCL Rating and having higher rated in your lobby might even be beneficial to your stats if you can finish above your expected position.
Build up your XCL Rating and Safety Rating to progress into longer and more various races.
