Hey race friends! Just joined here and hope to find some more practice in ACC. I personally prefer hot lapping but don't mind a good race with other racers. I joined at the website and the discord but I'm still a little lost! Looking forward to get it going :)
Welcome aboard, Hope to see you on the track and good luck. Been using the TT Event to see how I fair against the fastest and have a lot to learn for sure but it gives me the incentive to learn more. Well have fun and good racing.
Welcome happy racing. There are quite a few places to race and everyone seems cool . Racing is racing so be careful. What's your GT? I am Whigsplittaz on Xbox and discord.
Hey everyone! Canadian here! (GMT-6). Wanted to say a huge thanks to the organizers of XCL, discovered it last month and am blown away at the quality of racing! Good racing, see y'all on track
Hello mate! Deffenitly seen your name on track! Welcome to XCL and if you want communicate with the largest part of the community please join our discord 😉
Just joined XCL after hearing great things, namely, that this isn't a site for bumper car racers!! Very new to sim racing, but not actual racing as I do many track days each year here in the UK and occasionally Spa. I'm not by any means the fastest, actually probably one of the slowest at the moment, so I tend to just get out of the way of those faster and try to learn from them!
Invested in a Fanatec setup, 5nm base with booster kit, Mclaren wheel and CSL peddles with load kit...takes some getting used to but I'll get there!
Looking forward to meeting you all, and hopefully making some friends
What's up. I have the same setup minus the booster kit. Welcome aboard! I have still not raced yet, seems every time I have the car setup something seems to change the feel of the car and I can't keep the thing on the track. I think I will start in the back and try to keep pace and hope for the best. Well hope you enjoy the racing and good luck. Hope to see you out there!!
Thanks for your note. Keep the tuning simple and build, that's what I'm going to do! Starting with tyre pressures depending on temp and race distances :-)
Hey Shaun, trying to reply to your message but sent it out as a comment. Not sure if you saw it but figured out my issue. Downloaded the wrong driver. Everything looks good now and will be racing soon. Using a meta setup from Jardier (you tube vid) works really good on the 296. Later, have a great day.
My name is Anvar, I'm from Russia (gmt+4). I've got my first setup with fanatec, but now I have only Xbox, and I was disappointed due to lackness of races, but I've found XCL and it looks really serious and greatful!
Whats good? I found this site about a week ago and I am just now getting to introduce myself a little bit. I love racing and have most of my life going to a few different types of races and driving actual race cars including nascar and exotic sports cars on different tracks. This is a much cheaper option but fun nonetheless.
I look forward to meeting new drivers and engaging in race setups and styles. So much to learn and while we may be competitive to grow it we must be willing to teach it. I will be in my 1st rookie event tonite and if I bump you forgive me, I am driving with an older thrustmaster ffb wheel that will sometimes lose the ffb and that makes it hard. My new fanatec should be here in a week or 2 after being on order for a month or longer.
Happy racing safe racing and say what up doe to a fellow new racer.
Hi Hank, have you got your new Fanatec kit yet. If so, how are you getting on with it. I have a Thrustmaster TX base unit that also loses FFB randomly. It is very frustrating and causes a lot of issues, especially when driving in close proximity to others where they don't know why you're suddenly driving erraticaly. Look forward to seeing you out there.
Hey what upper my friend. I did in last month and have been in heaven ever since. No more loss of FFB in a turn and go wildly into a car or wall. If I do that now its because I pushed way to hard. Next up is a seat. There are so many to choose from and I am thinking GT Omega at the moment. I would get the fanatec or Moza. I really wanted the Moza but their NM was only at 3 or 5. I did go with the fanatec and I am not unhappy. I also went with the club sport pedals they are load cell pedals. Hey look for me out there or add me. GT is Whigsplittaz See you out there.
One more thing, there are a plethora of leagues to race in. Currrently I am in more ACC races due to the time frames in which they race fits my schedule better. I do like the races here and I absolutely love the fact they have races daily, I just can't partake in many of those as my time zone (EST) is normally a race at 2 or 3 pm and I am still working so I might miss many of those events.
Hey found this place while searching for an ACC xbox community. Been playing f1 for a while recently got a wheel and gtomega rig. New to ACC so looking for a community to help me improve 👍
Also. Can someone point me to a discord link thank you look forward to racing and learning here
Welcome aboard . Hope you enjoy the community racing. On the discord, if you scroll down on the website page there should be a tab you can press to get to the discord page. Happy racing!!!
Hi all! Not new to racing games, but taking them a little more seriously these days. Located in USA (GMT -4) and looking forward to improving with you all.
Welcome aboard. I am also from the States. Not raced yet but waiting on some equipment to come in and will finally get to try my luck. Hope to see you soon on the track.
Hi all. I'm a newbie to sim racing, and auto racing overall. Currently an unwillingly-retired MTB racer due to some health issues. Trying sim racing to scratch my competition itch. So...setups....yeah, setups are tough...
Getting used to it all and would love to find a community. Just did my first rookie race and didn't hit anybody...but did get hit due to my slow pace. I know to yield the position where safe, but was unfortunately caught in-corner a couple times. Will continue to work on the pace. Cheers!
Welcome aboard. I have not had the chance to join a race yet. In the process of changing my setup and having issues with my my new xbox series X. Trouble with the multiplayer setup. Hope to get it working this week so might see you on the track soon. Later
Hello everyone, happy to find this place for us humble console gamers. Stumbled across jaysums videos on YouTube.
I'm fairly new to sim racing but have a decent amount of race experience from real life and controller on forza titles. I'm not a particularly competitive person I race for the enjoyment of it. I have a love hate relationship with games that have open setups as I'm a tinkerer and can never stop making adjustments, it's probably a good thing I can't get telemetry on xbox as I would be buried in it constantly.
Hello to all. Been wanting to belong to a community for a while and while looking through the internet found XCL. Really liked what I read and saw so decided to give it a try. It is a very nice community. Will be joining a race soon, just trying to figure out how to go about it. Oh nice to hear a familiar voice,Jay. I have watch some of your tube video's. Must say they were very good instructions on helping a newbie get started in sim racing. Looking forward to having some great races with the community.
Hi Phil here, been som racing for about 18nmonths now mainly on acc and pc2, but now just ACC , have a tsxw set up with t3ap peddles as not upgraded to loadcell yet.
Looking for more save daily races to race in as I race with a Xbox league already on a Tuesday and Wednesday.
Hey Jan... & the rest of the team making this all happen. Great to see the site doing so well...
I've been sim racing since 2017 after buying all Fanatec equipment to use on a Xbox 1 X. I've pretty much been gaming on racing titles since I was 14 years old.
Loving the way this whole website works and the platform you've created. Quick question... What's XCL Credit?
You recieve XCL Credits for every race you enter. The idea is to be able to trade a certain amount of credits for discountcodes on sim related products. This still needs to be discussed with sponsors/webshops tho.
Hi all, Piero from Italy...thanks for starting this project hope many other sim racer will join it to make this community get bigger. Could someone explain why rating form mist be filled and why it start from 1500? Thanks and hope to meet you during some
The Rating form gets your name on he Rating list. When you sign in to a race your rating goes in the elo based rating system together with your opponents. You get a new rating based of your finishing result, old rating and the strength of the field. This can go up or down and thats why you start at 1500. When you get to 2001 (bronze) you get in a higher skill bracket with higher skilled drivers. This way we try to achieve competitive lobbies for everyone.
Hello Everyone I am Richie, I am a slow driver looking for some great racing instead of losing my sa in the dreaded public lobbies. I look forward to racing with you all in ACC.
Hi. I'm new here and just joined. I've been in ACC leagues previously but now looking for something less intense. What's this all about and how does it work 🤔😎
You will start out in the rookie category and can work your way up. If there are 2 servers running on 1 race, you can join the 2nd server for a more casual experience.
Other races we have people of all skill levels competing in here.
Car choice is free, just be respectfull to other drivers.
